This six week class focuses on the most common sources of frustration for dog owners.
In it, we will spend our time working on such issues as Loose Leash Walking,
Sitting Politely for Greeting, Door Manners, and more.

Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen Tests
Friday, November 20, 2009, 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM,
testing will be available for 4 dogs in each time slot.
$10 for CGC only; $15 for CGC/TDI. Preregistration required. Dog must be one year of age to test for TDI.

Dogs & Storks Workshop

For expecting families with dogs! Presented by Leigh Siegfried. Learn how to prevent problems, how to create a smooth transition and what to work on before baby arrives. Cost $40 per couple, and grandparents, etc are welcome at no additional charge. Please email info@opbarks.com or call 888-672-2757 (888-opbarks) to get on the roster.
$25 per hour for the first person
$5 additional for 2nd and 3rd person (3 people per hour max)
Each person may bring two dogs.
Price includes Rally-Obedience signs and agility equipment

Winter Bad Weather Policy: if the forecast is for 2 or more inches of snow, or freezing rain and ice four hours before a scheduled class, that class may be delayed by one week. If that happens again for that same class, that class may be cancelled and not made up. In that case, attempts will be made to cover all materials in an abbreviated class schedule.
Summer Bad Weather Policy: classes cannot be cancelled due to thunderstorms because they are too isolated and unpredictable to affect all students. Please call Great Companions any time prior to your scheduled class if you are aware of tornado warnings in your travel area.

Semi-Private Lessons
Call us for information about semi-private lessons where your dog will be matched with a compatible dog. Only $280 for a 6-week session!
